Logicpath Systems ("we," "us," or "our") operates the PDF Toolkit mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data and other information when you use our App.

1. Document Processing & Local Storage (On-Device Functionality)

The core functionality of PDF Toolkit (merging, splitting, compressing, editing, converting etc.) operates entirely on your device.

  • No Document Uploads: We do not upload, transmit, store, or process any of your PDF documents, images, or personal files on our servers or any third-party servers.
  • Strictly Local: All file manipulations and conversions happen securely on your smartphone or tablet.

2. Permissions Required

To function correctly, the App requires certain device permissions:

  • Storage/File Access: We request access to your device's storage solely so you can select documents to edit and save the processed files back to your device. We do not use this permission to scan or access files you do not explicitly select.

3. Information Collection, Advertising, and Use

While your files remain strictly private and on your device, we do use third-party services that may collect anonymized usage data to help us improve the App and to serve advertisements. We do not collect or store Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

3.1 Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

We use Google Analytics for Firebase (provided by Google LLC) to understand how users interact with the App and to identify crashes or bugs.

Firebase Analytics may collect the following types of information:

  • Usage Data: Information such as which tools are used most frequently, time spent on screens, and button clicks.
  • Device Information: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
  • Crash Reports: Diagnostic data if the App crashes.

This data is aggregated and anonymized. It does not contain any personal information or the contents of your documents.

3.2 Advertising (Google AdMob)

Our App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob is an advertising service provided by Google LLC.

  • AdMob may collect and use mobile advertising IDs (e.g., Android Advertising ID) and other device information to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
  • You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting your device's settings (e.g., enabling "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in Google Settings on Android).

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all document processing occurs locally on your device, we do not store your files or personal data on our servers. Therefore, there is no personal data or account information for us to delete upon request. Any analytics or advertising data collected by Google is retained according to Google's retention policies and is not tied to your personal identity.

5. Security

We value your trust. Because all document processing is done locally, your sensitive files are inherently secure from network interception or server breaches on our end.

6. Links to Other Sites

Our App may contain links to other sites. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
