Welcome to FAA Part 107 Drone Exam Prep ("the App"), developed and maintained by LogicPath Systems. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard data when you use our app.

1. Information We Collect

We are committed to minimal data collection:

Study Progress Data: Your quiz scores, streaks, flashcard states, and study statistics are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. We do not upload this data to any server.
Anonymous Analytics: We may collect anonymized usage data (e.g., screen views) via Firebase Analytics to improve app quality. This data cannot identify you personally.
Device Information: Basic device information (OS version, device model) may be collected via analytics to help us improve the app.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the app's core features and functionality.
To analyze aggregated, anonymous usage patterns and improve our content and features.
To detect, prevent, and address technical issues and crashes.
To understand which exam topics users find most challenging, helping us improve question explanations.

3. Third-Party Services

We may use the following third-party services:

Firebase Analytics — For anonymous usage analytics. Google's privacy policy applies.
Google AdMob — May be used to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data for ad personalization. You can opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

These services operate under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

4. Data Storage & Security

All your personal study data (scores, progress, flashcard states) is stored locally on your device.
We do not maintain user accounts or store personal data on remote servers.
While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we use commercially acceptable means to protect your information.
Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all locally stored data.

5. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for users aged 16 and above, in line with the FAA's minimum age requirement for a remote pilot certificate. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.

6. Internet Permissions

This app requires internet access for the following features:

Fetching live METAR and TAF weather data from aviation weather services.
Loading solar position data for twilight calculations.
Your study progress and quiz data never leaves your device.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected within the app with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
