Privacy Policy
Effective Date: March 21, 2026
This privacy policy applies to the Expense Tracker app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Logicpath Systems (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
1. Data Collection and Use
The Application is designed with a strict "local-first" and offline-only approach. The Service Provider does not collect, transmit, store, or have access to any of your personal or financial data.
All information you provide—including transactions, categories, amounts, and notes—is saved exceptionally on your device's local storage. The Application does not communicate with any external servers or databases to store your information.
2. Local Storage and Data Retention
Because your data is stored locally on your device:
- You have complete control over your data.
- If you uninstall the Application, clear the Application's data from your device settings, or lose your device, your data will be permanently deleted.
- The Service Provider cannot recover lost data under any circumstances.
3. Backups
The Application provides functionalities to export your data (e.g., as a JSON backup or CSV export). When you use these features, the data is generated locally on your device. It is your sole responsibility to securely store and manage these backup files. The Service Provider has no access to your backups.
4. Third-Party Services
The Application does not integrate with third-party analytics, crash reporting, or advertising services that track your behavior or collect your personal information.
5. Security
The Service Provider values your trust in using the Application. All your data remains localized within the secure sandbox provided by your device's operating system. However, please be aware that no method of electronic storage on a mobile device is 100% secure, and the Service Provider cannot guarantee its absolute security. It is recommended that you secure your device using standard screen locks (PIN, password, biometric) to prevent unauthorized access to your local data.
6. Children's Privacy
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this Privacy Policy.
