Privacy Policy

Effective date: 27 September 2026

App: CPC India – Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 (Android, package com.logicpathsystems.cpcindia)

Developer: Logicpath Systems · contact@logicpathsystems.com

In short

You don't need an account, and we never ask for your name, email or phone number.

Your flags, notes, searches, reading settings and practice scores stay on your phone. We cannot see them.

The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob. It uses Google Analytics for Firebase to count how the app is used. These Google services collect some device information, described below.

Where the law requires it (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), you are asked for consent before any ad loads. You can change your choice later in Options › Privacy choices.

We do not sell your personal data.

1. Who we are

CPC India ("the App") is published by Logicpath Systems ("we", "us", "our"). The App is a free, offline reader for the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, with a practice test. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the App, why, and the choices you have.

2. Information that stays on your device

The App stores the following in its private storage on your phone so that it can work offline:

  • sections you flag and notes you write;
  • recently opened sections and your reading position;
  • your last 10 searches;
  • reading preferences (text size, typeface, page colour, light or dark theme);
  • your practice-test answers and scores.

This information is not sent to us or to any advertising or analytics provider. You can remove all of it by clearing the App's storage (Settings › Apps › CPC India › Storage › Clear storage) or by uninstalling the App.

If you have turned on Android backup for your Google Account, Android may include this App data in your device backup. That backup is handled by Google under Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to it.

When you use Share or Copy, the text of a section goes to the app or clipboard you choose. We do not receive it.

3. Information collected by Google services in the App

3.1 Google Analytics for Firebase

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand which parts of the App are used, so that we can improve it and find problems. It collects:

  • App activity: the name of each screen you open (for example "HomeScreen", "SectionScreen" or "PracticeScreen"). When you finish a practice test, it also records the type of test (for example "quick" or "part-3"), the number of questions and the number answered correctly.
  • Collected automatically by Firebase: an app-instance identifier; device model; operating-system version; app version; language; approximate location (country or region, derived from your IP address); first launch; session start and length.

Analytics does not receive your notes, what you search for, which sections you flag or read, or your name or contact details. Google keeps user-level analytics data for no longer than 14 months, then deletes it. It keeps aggregated reports without user-level data.

More information: Firebase privacy and security.

3.2 Google AdMob (advertising)

The App is paid for by ads served by Google AdMob. Ads appear as banners at the bottom of some screens, as a labelled advertisement at the end of a section, and occasionally as full-screen ads. Full-screen ads appear when you leave a Part or a finished practice test, or when you return to the App after a while. To serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud, AdMob and its partners may collect:

  • your device's advertising ID, and on some devices an app-set ID;
  • your IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
  • device and app information (model, operating system, language, app version);
  • ad interactions (which ads were shown and whether you tapped them);
  • your consent choices, where consent is required.

If you consent, or where consent is not required, Google may use this information to show personalised ads. Otherwise Google shows non-personalised or limited ads, which still use some device data for measurement, frequency capping and fraud prevention. For personalised ads, Google acts as an independent controller of this data.

More information: How Google uses information from apps that use its services · AdMob and user data · Google Privacy Policy.

All data sent to Google is encrypted in transit (HTTPS).

4. Your choices

  • Ad consent: in the EEA, UK and Switzerland, and wherever else required, the App shows Google's consent form before requesting ads. When the option applies to you, you can review or withdraw consent at any time in Options › Privacy choices.
  • Advertising ID: you can reset or delete it in your device settings (Settings › Google › Ads, or Settings › Privacy › Ads, depending on your device). After deletion, apps can no longer read it.
  • Ad personalisation: manage it at My Ad Center.
  • Data on your device: clear the App's storage in your phone's settings, or uninstall the App.
  • Stopping all collection: uninstalling the App stops all further collection by the App and the Google services in it.

5. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to object to or restrict its processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data-protection authority. This includes rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the EU/UK GDPR and US state privacy laws.

We do not hold personal data that identifies you by name. Analytics and advertising data is linked only to device identifiers held by Google. To make a request, or if you have a grievance, email contact@logicpathsystems.com. We will reply within 30 days and help as far as the data we can access allows. You can also use Google's own controls described above.

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on your consent for personalised advertising, and on our legitimate interest in keeping a free App running and improving it for analytics and non-personalised ads.

6. Permissions

The App requests internet access to load ads and send analytics. The Google Mobile Ads SDK also declares the advertising-ID permission. The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, files, precise location or phone.

7. Children

The App is a legal reference for students, advocates and other adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. In India, users under 18 should use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided personal data through the App, contact us and we will help remove it.

8. Links to other sites

The App links to external websites such as India Code (indiacode.nic.in) and Google Play. Those sites are not run by us and have their own privacy policies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App changes. The new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Significant changes will also be noted in the App's release notes.
