LogicPath Systems ("we", "our", or "us") built the BNS BNSS BSA - New Criminal Laws app ("App") as a free, ad-supported educational tool. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

The App stores the following data locally on your device using SharedPreferences:

• Bookmarks — sections you save for quick access
• Personal notes — your annotations on sections
• Quiz progress — scores, XP, streaks, levels, and badges
• Recently viewed sections — for your convenience
• Theme preference — light, dark, or system
• Recent searches — your search history

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

4. Advertisements

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob to support ongoing development. AdMob may collect certain information automatically, including:

• Device identifiers (Advertising ID)
• IP address
• General location (country/region level, not precise)
• App usage data and interaction with ads

Google AdMob's data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by:

• Visiting your device's Settings > Google > Ads and enabling "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
• Or visiting Google's Ad Settings

5. Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions:

• Internet — required for loading advertisements
• Text-to-Speech — to read sections aloud (uses your device's built-in TTS engine)
• Share — to share section text via your device's share sheet

No camera, microphone, contacts, or storage permissions are required.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates the following third-party services:

Google Fonts used in the App are bundled within the app package and do not make network requests.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The ads displayed are configured to comply with Google's policies for family-friendly content.

8. Data Deletion

Since all user data is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time by:

• Clearing the app data from your device Settings > Apps > BNS BNSS BSA > Clear Data
• Uninstalling the App

No residual data will remain on any server as we do not operate any user-data servers.

9. Data Security

We value your trust. While we do not collect personal data on our servers, we ensure that:

• All locally stored data remains on your device
• The App does not transmit your bookmarks, notes, or quiz progress anywhere
• Ad-related data collection by Google AdMob follows Google's security standards

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the App with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
